Do I need to prepay to my child’s account to be able to see what my child ate for lunch?

No, you only need to register online at .

Can I still send my child in to school with cash or a check to pay for lunch?

Yes. MealpayPlus just gives you an additional method of paying

for your child’s lunch.

Can I make payments to multiple accounts with one payment?

Yes.

I have more than one child. Will I have to pay a 4.75% fee to put money on each child’s account?

No. You will be able to put money on account for all your children by splitting payments and provided you do not exit the payment area. You will open one account with one child. After you have your one account established, then you need to go to the “managed student” button. Click on this button and it will walk you through adding your other children to the one account. Now when you click the “make payment” button on the main screen all of your children will be displayed on the screen.

If I use the auto replenish feature will I pay a 4.75% fee for each child’s account?

Yes. The way the auto replenish works is that you set up one low balance amount. As each of your children has different eating habits, it will replenish at different times. If you use auto replenish for multiple students, you will have to pay a 4.75% fee each time.

How will I know if my payment was received?

You will receive payment confirmation.

How long will it take for my payment to show on my child’s account?

We recommend you wait at least 24 hours before checking your child’s

Account balance. This could take up to 48 hours.

Will I receive a notice if my child’s balance is low?

You can set up an e-mail advisory to notify you if your child’s meal

balance is low. If the balance of any account goes below your limit, MealPayPlus will send you an email.

Can I specify that I want some of my payment to go to the “MEAL” only account and some to the “GENERAL” account?

Yes. You will be able to do that at the time of payment. “MEAL ONLY” means your child will only be able to purchase a reimbursable meal with those funds. “GENERAL” allows your child to purchase milk and other items sold in the café.

How can I see the purchases made in the cafeteria or the purchase history of the account?

Each district or organization sets the option to allow purchase history. If your district or organization allows this function, you will see a “View purchase History” button on the home page. Simply click this button. Occasionally, outside factors may cause disruption of this service. You may also contact your cafeteria or organization manager to obtain a complete print out of activities.

How secure is this payment site?

Like any other website, you will see the little lock on the screen in the

corner. MealPayPlus offers the 128 bit encryption with SSL/secure socket layer. We are certified by VISA for its CISP/Cardholder Information Security program. This certification is VISA’s highest security protocol.

Can I use my ATM card to make a payment to my child’s account?

No. You can only use a credit card (Visa or Master Card), or debit bank check cards with VISA or MC logo, or savings or checking account (e-check via ACH).

Can I still use Mealpay if I do not have a computer?

Yes. You call the district 1-866-764-0702 and it will prompt you to make a payment, or check your child’s balance only. You will not be able to use the auto replenish feature or check history feature.

How do I register if I use the 1-866-764-0702 number?

You do not need to register if you use the 866 number. You only need your child’s student ID number to make a payment or hear the balance.
