The Bachelor of Arts in Child Development--Early Development, Care and Education (EDCE) program--was launched in 2007 to create an accessible pathway to bachelor's degree completion for working early childhood educators.
This degree completion program is a collaboration between Sacramento State's College of Education, College of Continuing Education, and local child care and education organizations.
"This program was a godsend.
I could attend class two nights a week after work. The instructors went above and beyond and made me feel like I was part of Sacramento State. Anyone considering this program should
jump on board." --Regina Swaney Cohort 2 Placer County, Graduated Spring 2011
