Waste found in trash bin in MUHS lunch spaces. Trash was gathered a day prior to sorting. Sorting occurred by dumping each bag of waste onto a large tarp, and each waste item was placed into the proper disposal category (trash, recycling, food scraps). A: Weight of each category of waste found within the trash bin. Total weight equaled 42.2 pounds. ................
