How to Connect/Map to the Pediatrics Storage ServersDescription:The Department of Pediatrics maintains storage for administration, research lab and user files in several storage locations. If not (or you are using a non-Pediatrics hardware), you can create a static drive map as follows:Open up Windows ExplorerIn the left-hand navigation frame, Right-click on Computer (Windows 10 – This PC)Select “Map a Network Drive”Choose a drive letter (S:/T:/R:/U:)In the Folder field enter: \\pedom.peds.washington.edu\pedsdata\pedshare (or the relevant connection path listed in the table above)Check the box to Reconnect at logon(non-Pediatrics hardware – check the box to use different credentials)If using different credentials, preface your login account (netid) with “pedom\”Click FinishIf you experience issues connecting, try changing the folder field to: \\paloma.pedom.peds.washington.edu\pedshareor the alternate connection path (see table above)If located off-campus see instructions for remote access on the Pediatrics website referenced below.Instructions for Mac SystemsOnce PedsIT has granted you permission to access the Pedshare (or appropriate) folders, connect to the server using the following steps:From the Finder Menu, Select GoSelect Connect to ServerIn the Server Address field enter: smb://pedom.peds.washington.edu/pedsdata/pedshareCifs://pedom.peds.washington.edu/pedsdata/pedshareOr the appropriate connection pathClick on Connect buttonIf prompted, enter your Pedom credentialsin the Name field enter Pedom\usernameenter your Pedom domain passwordIf you do not know your Pedom domain password, please contact the PedsIT Helpdesk for assistance.For Older Mac SystemsIf you experience issues connecting to Pedstore using the instructions above, try connecting using the alternative Server Address:smb://paloma.pedom.peds.washington.edu/pedshareor appropriate connection path.Remote Access to Pedshare, Pedstore, Pedsecure & User Folders via a Web BrowserPedshare storage (for file upload/download access) is available remotely from virtually any web browser via .
