Song Lyrics Directions: Open the document “Lyric Formatting” from the Word hand-out folder on Docushare. Follow the formatting directions for each song. When you are done, upload your document to Docushare. SAVE AS “LYRICS BY YOU”

Changes to be made to the title line “Song Lyrics”

• Center the title “Song Lyrics” and change the font size to 18.

• Expand the character spacing in the title line to 25 points

• Underline the title.

Changes to be made to “You Know You’re Right by Nirvana”

• Move the left and right indents in .5”

• Change the line spacing to 1.5

• Change the font color to a shade of blue

• Change the title of the song to size 14, Comic Sans, Bold and underlined

Changes to be made to “Daydream Believer by The Monkeys”

• Change the line spacing in this section to 1.5

• Add a first line indent of 1”

• Add a bottom border below the song title

Changes to be made to “My Sacrifice by Creed”

• Change the color of the song title to Blue, Accent 1, Darker 25%

• Change the lyrics to Aqua, Accent 5, Lighter 60%

• Changes font size to 9

Changes to be made to “Yo Excuse Me Miss by Chris Brown”

• Change the font size of this whole section to 8

Changes to be made to “Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers”

• Create a first line indent of 1”

• Change line spacing to 1.5

Changes to be made to “Behind These Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson”

• Right align both paragraphs

• Change the font to Lucida Calligraphy, size 10

Changes to be made to “Another Day by RENT”

• Change the font color to Purple, Accent 4, Lighter 40%

• Change the font to Italics

• Highlight the title and artist name and choose the fill color of white, background 1, darker 25%

Changes to be made to “Sunrise by Norah Jones”

• Create a hanging indent of 1”

• Add 6 points of spacing after the paragraph

Changes to be made to “Run Like Hell by Pink Floyd”

• Change the font to Comic Sans MS size 16

• Add 6 points of spacing before the paragraph

Changes to be made to “Ms. Jackson by OutKast”

• Add 24 points of space before the title

• Change the font size to 9

• Change the line spacing to 1.15
