Debbie serves as Women's Minister at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler Texas. She previously served as Vice President at Hope for the Heart and is a certified Life and Ministry Coach through AACC. She has served in Women's Ministry for 26 + years and has a wealth of ministry and leadership experience. She has served as Director of Church and Leadership Development for Women of Faith, and as Director of Women's Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church for 10 years and Willow Point Baptist Church for 10 years. Debbie is the author of 20 Minutes a Day for the Rest of Your Life and the sequel 20 Lessons Learned from 20 Minutes a Day as well as a Bible Study journal (available on EBay). She is an International conference/retreat speaker and Bible teacher.

She received the Legends Award in 2017. She is the 2015 recipient of the "Woman of the Word" Award from Salem Communication as well as the 2011 recipient of the "Shining Star" Award, recognizing Outstanding Women in Leadership.

She has been married to John Mark for 35 years. She has 2 grown children, Jarrad and Haley and 2 grandsons.

Retreat Information

Where is it? We will be staying at Cedar Springs Christian Retreat Center, 4700 Minaker Road, Sumas, WA 98295. Directions to the camp are included in this brochure.

What is included? This retreat includes two nights lodging, five meals, retreat speaker, and lots of activities. Not to mention all the great fun you will have and friendships you will develop! Meals included are Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast. Check in begins at 5:00 pm, dinner is at 6:30 pm, and the evening session begins at 7:30 pm. Check out is at 11:00 am on Sunday (No lunch is served on Sunday).

What is the cost? The cost is $190.00 per person for the full weekend. This includes 5 meals. The price for Saturday only is $75.00 and includes 3 meals and activities on Saturday.

Registration closes when the retreat is full, please turn in a NON-refundable deposit $100 for full weekend and $75 for Saturday only to hold your spot, final balance will be due on February 9, 2020. How do I register? You can register in person on Sunday mornings or at the church office. Online registration forms are available at . You must still bring a check to the church office or mail it Attention: Ronda Clawson, Camano Chapel, 867 S. West Camano Drive, Camano Island, WA 98282, to secure your reserved spot for the retreat, as we are not taking online payments at this time.

What to bring: Bible, water bottle, notebook, pen, casual clothes, walking shoes, umbrella, warm layers, toiletries, extra towel and blanket, crocheting or knitting projects.

What is included: Free WI-FI, meals, beverages/snacks, bedding and one towel per guest.

Directions: Cedar Springs is approximately 1.5 hours from Stanwood. Take I-5 North towards Bellingham, take Exit 256 (WA 539) to WA 546 just beyond Lynden (12.6 miles), Turn right onto WA 546 toward Sumas through two roundabouts to E. Badger Road turnoff (9.5 miles), Turn right onto E. Badger Road to Telegraph Road (.03 miles), Turn left onto Telegraph Road to North Pass Road (.4 miles), Turn right onto North Pass Road to Minaker Road (.5 miles), turn left onto Minaker Road, Cedar Springs is straight ahead (.8 miles).
