Camp Kum-Ba-Ya has been providing hospitality for spiritual experiences to develop Disciples and Christian leaders in western Kentucky for over 65 years. As a property of the Christian Church in Kentucky, managed by the West Area, Camp KBY offers a seven-week program of summer camps, as well as retreats and off-season rental to groups and churches year around. The Camp Manager reports to the Office Manager of the Christian Church In Kentucky—West Area and the Camp KBY Advisory Team. The Camp Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and supervising the camping program, developing promotional strategies for the camping program, maintaining the buildings and grounds, and preparing and offering Christian hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate would have a background in ministry, camp leadership experience, great communication skills, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, gifts for hospitality, and a love of camping and retreat ministry and its power to change lives.
