"A Saviour has been born to you, Christ, The Lord"

The Son of God being made man is viewed like an infant, helpless and lying in a manger, such was God's Christ. The Saviour was not His created servant or messenger but His Son of Himself, the Son who is the brightness of His glory and well-beloved, who was given a human body and a human nature. Conceived by God's Holy Spirit, the Saviour, Jesus was naturally of a sinless nature, no less human due to the fact that The Eternal Son of God was born of a woman, born into the nation of Israel and the truth of prophecy is witness to His unique personage. Angels were heralds of the new-born Saviour. This announcement was of the promised redeemer who would deliver humankind from sin and death. God established His work by a confirmatory sign, that the Saviour would be a babe in swaddling clothes in a manger. The title Lord was previously reserved for the Father but now applied to The Messiah, The Mighty Deliverer and proclaimed as such by the angelic beings. Lord is a sign of Jesus Christ's divinity and His absolute authority.
