Explain that you are going to show them some pictures they may have seen before. If they know what is happening in the picture then they must put up their hand. Reveal a picture from the feely bag (of a familiar occasion e.g. birthday party, Christmas, dinner time) Now look at the familiar pictures. What can you see? What is happening? Encourage the children to talk about the familiar pictures .Can they relate them to previous experiences? Have you ever done anything like this before? When? Why?
