Strategy for Youth Ministry, Thursday, October 4, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Presenters: Don Roscoe and Josh Yates

Disciple making from the life of Christ is based upon a biblical understanding of the Great Commission priorities as observed in the life of Christ. This training is designed to help ministry leaders gain a simple yet fresh glimpse into the process of movement building as seen in the life of Christ.

It is a 7-8 hour seminar that provides a chronological “overview” to the life and ministry of Jesus. We’ll spend significant time examining the pattern of disciple making that Jesus used to invest into his disciples. Our study together will take place using a harmony of the gospels approach to gain a better understanding of the historical and cultural contexts Jesus used to equip his disciples. We’ll look at the periods of time or phases in Christ’s journey that will help gain a foundation for ministry development. Attendees will identity key disciple making principles in each phase to be able to apply to their lives and ministries. Our goal is to renew a passion for disciple making and greater commitment to living out the character and priorities of Jesus.

We welcome you into this greatest of all causes -- knowing Christ and fulfilling His commission.

What is the organic and natural process of maturing as a disciple of Christ? Does your church have a discipleship strategy that is structured enough to maintain order, but organic enough to change with the ongoing needs of the church as it grows?

During this full-day of training we’ll examine the process and end product of maturing as followers of Christ. This training will help guide you and our ministry to gage, assess and develop a healthy balanced disciple making ministry. Dann Spader and Don Roscoe will be giving us over 65 years (yes, they are old dudes) of disciple making experience in the local church and around the world.
