Unitarian Universalism

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal faith. We have a theologically pluralist approach that encourages seekers to follow their own spiritual paths within our religious community. Our faith welcomes people with different beliefs. We are united by shared values, not by creed or dogma.

We promote reason and tolerance and embrace a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We value diversity. We are united in our commitment to making the world a better place for everyone

The Unitarian Universalist living tradition draws from many sources including humanist teachings which counsel us to heed the guidance of reason and the results of science.

All are welcome and respected at our Sunday services and at our many programs for children and for adults.

Our Place in Space – The Cosmos

Children will blast off each evening as we travel through space. In keeping with our Unitarian Universalist Principles and Purposes, children will learn to respect the interdependent web of all existence of which we are all a part. Campers will experience the discoveries of science together with transcending mystery and wonder while exploring earth, the planets, stars and the cosmos.

We invite your entire family to join us for a potluck dinner around the bonfire on Friday, the final evening. This camp is for children as young as 3 years old. Teens and adults are encouraged to participate as counselors and helpers. Contact Greta Porter, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, with questions or to volunteer at dlfd@ or 412-366-0244.
