Online Giving Service for TN Baptist Churches

Tennessee Baptist Mission Board (TBMB) has devised a system for churches that need an easy fix for online giving during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Here is how it will work:

1. TBMB will set up a unique landing page for each church and provide a link to that page to the church which can be posted on the church's website or sent to members via email or other means.

2. The contributor will follow that link to the secure site where they can make a one-time gift or set-up a personal account to simplify future offerings.

3. The contributor can use a credit card or electronic check (bank draft) to make their contribution.

4. The contributor will receive an automatically generated email indicating that their contribution has been received. This document can be used for tax purposes.

5. Every two-weeks, the cumulative amount of contributions received for the church will be directly deposited into the church's account. A list of the individual gifts will be emailed to the church at the same time.

6. Each credit/debit card transaction will cost 39 cents plus 2.69% of the transaction amount. Each transfer from a checking/savings account through ACH will cost 39 cents. All of this is paid to the firm processing the card transactions. None of it will come to TBMB. There is no charge for electronic checks.
