OUR FUTURE IN MISSION

From the CHUCC Vision Statement, adopted by the congregation on May 23, 2010

As we look at upgrades and improvements to our building in 5-10 years, we see creative partnerships with agencies that might enable us to significantly expand the services we offer our neighbors in need (for example, low-income housing).

Immediate recommendations:

1. Create a team to investigate partnerships that provide expanded options for use of the property to better serve the community. Contract with an architect to determine options for use of the land and buildings.

2. Work with Bethel UCC and the Oregon Food Bank to investigate starting a small food pantry and/or use Faith Café mentoring to explore starting a program to serve weekly meals
