Roofing Mechanic

Sheet Metal Mechanic

Journeyman Electrician

Work include but not limited to the following: Installing gypsum hard board, flat & tapered insulation, single ply roof

membranes. Proper us of roof top equipment. Welding, measuring, cutting, 1st aid, CPR, Forklift. CDL a Plus.

Properly measuring and cutting sheet metal Installation of architectural sheet metal

Install basic metal details, gravel stops, copings and counterflashing.

Be able to install pitch pockets and vent pipe flanges. Install metal roofing seams. Be able to solder

Safely and efficiently, operate tools and machines. Be proficient in using and reading measurements, and

following directives to achieve daily job goals. Must have drivers license/own vehicle

Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code. Journeyman - Successfully completed a Maryland certified electrical apprenticeship program. Apprentice - Must be in a Maryland certified electrical apprenticeship program school

to make apprenticeship hourly wage.

These positions can range from temporary, to jobs that might last only through the length of contracts, to jobs that require having your own transportation.
