Project Scope:The E 75th Street Bridge Replacement Project is located between Woodland Avenue and Grand Avenue. This Public Improvement is approximately 900 feet in length and serves Orlando Bakery & GCRTA currently and the Future Cleveland Police Headquarters Project for access from the Wood land Avenue and the community to the north for access south to Kinsman Avenue Area Recreational & Cultural Centers.The bridge spans over GCRTA and NSRR Tracks and NEORSD Sewers.The existing bridge is currently rated 4A which is a rating for poor condition and warrants replacement.This Project continues the road & bridge improvement where the Opportunity Corridor Phase 3 ends at Grand Avenue.North of the bridge, this Project blends in with the recently completed NEORSD Green Infrastructure Project at West Dell Avenue and the newer Urban Revitalization & Community Housing Projects.ADA-compliant curb ramps will be installed within Project Limits.Replacement of deficient curbs, walks and drives aprons within Project Limits.Public and Private utilities within the Project Limits will be replaced as warranted.Railroad Bridge clearances will be improved per current railroad standards.Maintenance of Traffic during Construction:The project will be constructed by removing the bridge in its entirety and the project is estimated to be constructed in 24 months.Traffic coming from the North on E 75th Street will be detoured east via Woodland Avenue to E 79th Street South to the anticipated completed Opportunity Corridor (S.R. 10) west to E 75th Street. Traffic coming from the South will be detoured east via the Opportunity Corridor (S.R.10) east to E 75th Street north to Woodland Avenue, then, west to E 75th Street.
