Program Services A wide range of medical services including immunizations, TB testing, lead screening, mammography, and hearing/vision screening. Program Services The Boyle County Public Library is open 7 days a week and offers a full range of services: children's story times, book club discussions for adults, research assistance, inter-library loan service, special programs and exhibits, and both informative and recreational materials in print, audio-visual, and electronic formats. The Library also operates a Bookmobile which makes regular stops throughout the county and visits schools, daycares, nursing homes and shutins. Additional services include computer classes, online tutoring services, and access to online databases such as . Program Services Services include helping those less fortunate and in need through an all-volunteer Board of Directors. We try to help homeless, those whose lives are interrupted through dire circumstances or others who are in need of temporary aid. Program Services Provides individuals with mental retardation or developmental disabilities with an alternative to institutionalized care. Administered by the State Medicaid program, this program allows individuals to remain in the community with support services provided by this agency. Many services are available including: community habilitation therapies, respite, behavior support, supported employment, staffed residence, as well as community living support. Program Services Aims to strengthen local communities by increasing accessibility for persons who have limited proficiency in English due to an auditory impairment or because they are native speakers of a foreign language. While based in Danville, staff members are available to travel all over the state.

Program Services Mission is to advocate for the rights and well-being of the Hispanic/Latino people, particularly the most vulnerable through: partnership, education, commitment, service and empowerment.

Program Services SNAP Medicaid Child Care

Program Services Distributes food to those in need of assistance.

Program Services CASA of the Bluegrass (Court Appointed Special Advocates) provides advocacy services for children who are abused and/or neglected in the Boyle, Mercer, Anderson, and Franklin County Family Court Systems. All CASA Volunteers are highly trained community members who have a passion for improving the lives of children in their community. Program Services Provides support for migrant children at their schools, assists parents with involvement in the child's school. Refers families for assistance with education (ESL/GED), medical/dental care, eyeglasses, and clothing. Also sponsors family events. Eligible recipients include students and emancipated youth (up to age 22) enrolled in the migrant program whose families have moved to Danville within the last 3 years to work in agriculture.

Program Services A variety of classes including aerobics, yogalates, karate and swimming in the facility's pool. Sponsors youth sports programs, including basketball and volleyball.

Program Services Investigates reported cases of abuse or neglect of children or vulnerable adults, including spousal domestic violence.

Program Services Our Community Service Department has a mission to make a measurable difference in the health and wellness of the individuals who live in our six-county service area. To accomplish that mission, regular health screenings are offered in the communities we serve to detect for the risks of heart disease and stroke as well as diabetes, cancer and obesity. We also complete a Community Health Assessment every three years to identify the primary health risk factors in the communities we serve.

Program Services The Hope Clinic and Pharmacy, which provides clinic visits and

prescriptions to low-income, chronically ill patients who lack insurance. Chaplin's Discretionary Fund, assist patients in need with purchasing specific medications, supplies and equipment. Community service, which offers cancer screenings and health risk assessments, free of charge. Camp Can Do, a summer camp for children with special needs who receive therapy on site. Program Services Coordinating the resources of the community to address the needs of children and their families by linking them with community agencies and a variety of other resources and services. The FRC realizes the importance of serving the family in order to achieve educational success for the students in the Danville Schools. Families First assists families in helping their children reach their educational goals.

Program Services Provides financial assistance for low-income clients facing a temporary financial emergency, such as imminent eviction or termination of essential utility service. Offers counseling and referral services to encourage clients to develop strategies for long-term positive change toward self-sufficiency and community involvement. Clients must be residents of Boyle County.

Program Services GreenHouse 17, formerly Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, is an advocacy agency committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community. Our specially trained crisis counselors are available to help people harmed by intimate partner abuse any time of the day, every day of the year.

Program Services Provides an opportunity for low-income families to own their own home. Each family partners with volunteers in the community who donate their time, money, and skills to build affordable housing. Maintains an ongoing relationship with partner families, including financial counseling and home maintenance education. Accepts applications from residents of Boyle County who are able to repay an interest-free loan but whose income is insufficient to obtain a regular home loan. Applicants must be residents of the county for at least 6 months.

Program Services HANDS is a voluntary home visitation program for moms, dads and families. We provide information on prenatal care, nutrition, safety and child development. Boyle County HANDS can now work with first time parents and families with more than one child. Through HANDS, you will receive support, information and activities that will help you and your baby navigate early parenthood together. Our goals are to support healthy child growth and development, ensure safe homes and help parents reach the goals they have for their children and their family.
