2020 Snow College Soccer CampHigh School Team CampUnder the direction of Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach Nuno Gourgel, along with co-director Mark Cottle. Snow College will host the 2020 High School Team Camp on June 15-19 for girls and June 22-26 for boys.?BENEFITSTeam Development?– Teams will play seven to eight matches during the week on lined, natural grass fields. Teams will have the opportunity to take advantage of great team-building opportunities on campus and throughout the community.Player Development?– Campers will receive skill instruction provided by experienced, licensed coaches.Coach Development?– Attending coaches will have the opportunity to spend time with your team on and off the field, share ideas with other coaches, and network with high school and college coaches from Utah and other states.Having Fun?– Small-sided and skill competitions will be held during the camp. We will also have give-a-ways for competition participants. We will also hold an all-star game, which will be held at the Snow College Stadium.?PRICEOvernight Campers:?$260 (Room & Board plus three meals per day, a barbeque, awards and t-shirt)Commuters:?$115 (Includes lunch, awards, and t-shirt)MEMO FOR COACHESOur camp concept offers you an opportunity to become a member of the camp staff. Your duties include supervision of your players, game officiating, and coaching. In return, you will earn $400 (minimum 14 players) and provide you with room and board. You must work at the various events and supervise your team at all times in order to earn the stipend. If you are bringing two teams, the schedule will be written to accommodate you, allowing you to coach both teams. If you are bringing three teams, you will need to bring an assistant coach to supervise the third team.?We look forward to having you as a member of our staff this summer.FINAL REGISTRATIONFinal registration will be held on Monday, June 15 for the girls and on Monday, June 22 for the boys. All remaining participant fees are due at this time. Please have either a single check or credit card to pay for all remaining fees, or collect the money from all of your participants. Coaches are the only ones allowed to register teams.PARTICIPANT FORMSEach participant must complete a Participant Guidelines Form and an Insurance Verification & Waiver Form. These forms must be completed and turned in at the time of registration.TEAMSEach team will consist of 12-14 players. We will combine teams at the camp if it is necessary to do so.EQUIPMENTEach participant should bring his or her own soccer ball, shin guards, bedding for a twin bed, towel, pillow, lip balm, and a water bottle. Coaches should bring reversible pennies and any equipment needed when coaching his/her team.SCHEDULESchedules will be sent out and room assignments made two weeks prior to camp.TRANSPORTATIONYou must provide transportation for your players to and from the playing fields if you are staying off campus. All fields are within walking distance of the dorms.TRAINERSA certified athletic trainer will be on site throughout the day and on-call 24 hours a day. Each school will need to provide their own training supplies. Ice and water will also be available at each field site.CHECKOUTThe girls’ camp will conclude Friday, June 19. Check out times will be between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. The boys’ camp will conclude Friday, June 26.
