AP Language and Composition/College Composition--English 111/RamosAssignment: Research Paper Rubric All papers should be typed, in MLA format, 6-7 pages in length. Choose either your Toulmin or Rogerian essay and include 2-3 pieces of research to each body paragraph. Rebuttal paragraphs need 3 pieces of research minimum (1 for opposing side, 2 for your side). You must have parenthetical documentation in the body of the essay and you must paraphrase whenever possible. In the case of statistics or direct quotes, you may use direct citation. You must have a correctly formatted Works Cited page, to include 4-7 sources. If you use a source that is not from a database or Google Scholar, you will have to use the website evaluation form, located on the Pathfinders link on the LHS Library webpage and on my website—attach these forms to the end of your paper, after your Works Cited page, when you submit it.You must also have a NoodleTools account (we set this up in class) and share your notecards with me. You must have the original source text, your own paraphrasing, and your original thinking in your notecards. You will export these to Word and attach them to the end of your paper!You must put all of your additions in bold italics, as I’ve already graded the rest.
