Job Title: AIP Coordinator

Department: Alpha Project

Reports To: CEO/Executive Director

Supervision done by: Program Director

Salary: $18.00/ hr 20-25 hours a week

General Responsibilities

AIP Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Violence Intervention Program

Specific Activities

➢ Complete client intake and assessment utilizing the appropriate assessment tool(s)

➢ Establish service/treatment plan for perpetrators

➢ Collects payment and keeps each file current on payments for services from all clients

➢ Facilitate anger/aggression and/or domestic violence groups for abusers

➢ Strictly adhere to the treatment and intervention standards in conducting groups for perpetrators

➢ Document services provided by means of keeping files current with contact reports following each session, as well as notes on any between-session contacts

➢ Submit to the courts and justice system all necessary documentation and request for payment authorizations for both intakes and groups

➢ Receive training in the model used to facilitate groups and remains current with any changes in requirements

➢ Write timely and professional reports to the referring source

➢ Provide services in a culturally sensitive manner

➢ Remain current in the field

➢ Maintain community relations with referring sources

➢ Participate in bi-weekly supervision

➢ Participate in monthly team meetings and/or other community meetings

➢ Submit monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for outcome measures

➢ Complete all other duties as assigned

Working Conditions This position utilizes a telehealth model; therefore, the work is performed virtually. However, physical office space will be provided for clients who do not have access to technology.

Requirements

This position is for someone who loves making a difference in people’s lives (not someone looking for fulltime income). Dependability is a MUST! Well developed case management, problem solving, time managemenet, and communication and telephone skills. Domestic Violence experience training is required. Previous experience facilitating groups mandatory.

College Diploma is a minimum requirement in Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work and/or Criminal Justice. MSW, MA in Psychology, Counseling, or Conflict Resolution preferred. Certification(s) and/or documented formal training (certification) may be considered. Priority will be given to candidate with LGSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LPC, or LCMFT licensure. Applicants should be free from violence in their own lives.
