Client Services Manager



Fáilte Ireland invites applications for the position of Manager, Enterprise Development. Enterprise Development is the business unit tasked with enhancing the capability of Irish Industry partners nationally across all key aspects of their business operations.

The role will report to the Head of Enterprise Development & Hospitality and will be based in one of the following Fáilte Ireland offices Dublin, Mullingar or Sligo.

Please note there may be a requirement for travel generally and to be in the Dublin office in Amiens Street on a regular basis.

|successful candidate will work across the Industry to deliver on a suite of business capability solutions with a focus on implementing e-commerce and|

|digital solutions that can be flexed and adapted to meet the evolving challenges faced by the tourism industry. Strong commercial understanding and |

|business expertise in one or more of the following Digital strategy, E-commerce and tourism distribution channels will be key to delivering on the |

|job. An ability to work and deliver in a matrix environment is essential. |

|Analyse Industry feedback through regular researching of current skills and capability gaps and industry needs nationally. Providing regular and |

|timely insights and feedback from stakeholders to the organisation. |

|Providing thought leadership that mobilise industry and address key issues for national and sectoral groups. |

|Work collaboratively across the functions within Fáilte Ireland and provide updates on projects with internal and external stakeholders. |

|Expert and effective communication skills both internal and external. |

|This role requires travel, with attendance at a significant number of national (and occasional overseas) events throughout each year. |

|Essential Criteria |

|The successful candidate must possess and through their Application show evidence of: |

|Experience: |

|The successful candidate will have a proven track record with a minimum of five years’ experience in a managerial role. |

|Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of tourism, commercial or service industry. |

|We are looking for an individual who has experience in people management and leading teams. |

|Has highly developed interpersonal skills and has demonstrated an ability to build strong external and internal strategic partnerships. |

|Delivering on key strategic projects and goals within a business or agency. |

|Previous experience in managing senior stakeholders. |

| |

|Qualifications: |

|A minimum degree or relevant professional qualification in a Business, Innovation or Digital or related discipline is essential. |

| |

|Desirable Criteria |

|Previous experience working in the following areas also beneficial: |

|A commercial mind-set married to an interest and passion for innovation and best practice would be desirable. |

|Areas of specialism around digital innovation, and on-line solutions and programmes would be beneficial. |

|Working with or for a National Group or body. |

|Experience in working successfully with tourism industry in terms of operational or business performance. |
