Clinical Assistant/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (non-tenure track)Adult Medicine Pharmacotherapy Department of Pharmacy: Clinical and Administrative SciencesCollege of PharmacyThe University of Oklahoma Health Sciences CenterOklahoma City, OklahomaThe University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy invites applicants for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to support comprehensive adult medicine pharmacotherapy services on the Oklahoma City campus. Applicants are expected to develop scholarship in the area of adult medicine or medicine subspecialties, participate in collaborative research, and to develop and provide didactic, laboratory, and experiential training and education to doctor of pharmacy and graduate students, and pharmacy practice and specialty residents. Responsibilities include supporting the College of Pharmacy mission and goals through classroom learning opportunities and professional, community, and university service. OUHSC is a comprehensive academic health science center with seven professional colleges, affiliated hospitals, clinics, and research institutes near the Oklahoma City campus.Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited program and have completed a postgraduate year one (PGY1) and postgraduate year two (PGY2) residency in internal medicine or medicine subspecialty area, two-year pharmacotherapy residency, or equivalent post-graduate experience with significant exposure to adult medicine. Candidates must be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Oklahoma pharmacist and preceptor’s licenses. Preferred qualifications include board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other medicine subspecialty area and experience in classroom teaching, small group discussions, and precepting doctor of pharmacy students. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and meet eligibility requirements for health system credentialing. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.
