Current event – editorials

Current Event Guidelines

Each student will need to submit 4 current event summaries per quarter. Students may turn in only one summary per week.

Students are free to choose which weeks they submit their summaries with one exception. If the teacher specifically assigns a summary to a student/group of students for a particular week, the student/students must complete one of their five summaries the week it is assigned.

Students may use any reputable print (Birmingham News, Wall Street Journal, etc. ) or web news (CNN, Fox News, etc.) source.

Students must submit both their summary and a copy of the article.
