Course DescriptionAdvanced coding techniques with emphasis on case studies, health records, and federal regulations regarding prospective payment systems and methods of reimbursement. Lab required.Student Learning OutcomesSequence codes according to established guidelines and standards.Apply reimbursement methodologies.Apply procedure codes using CPT/HCPCS and ICD 10 CM for diagnoses codes for ambulatory coding.
