HUB Reopening InformationWe are so pleased that the HUB is now completed and ready for student use. This was a vision cast by campus leaders and fueled by student input. We look forward to seeing the spaces in the HUB filled with Foresters as they gather to hang out, study, dine, shop, or just enjoy that million-dollar view. While we are truly excited about the opening of the HUB, we recognize our responsibility to one another as we continue to navigate a world greatly impacted by COVID-19. As we seek to honor God with how we care for one another, there are some practices and protocols we are putting in place for HUB use that are intended to provide the safest environment possible. These practices/protocols are listed below. Please know that as the COVID-19 environment changes for the better, these practices/protocols may be relaxed or removed. The main Mall entrance will be the only entrance available to enter and exit the HUBMasks must be worn inside the HUB at all times unless you are eating or drinkingSeating will be reduced/spaced by removal or marking of chairs and tables; seating is not permitted in locations marked as offline, and furniture should not be relocated within the HUBThe HUB will open daily at 7:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.Events and programs in the HUB must be approved by Student Life in advance of the event taking placeOnline event approval forms are available on the SAB page on the PortalThe Hometown Ticketing app will be used to sell tickets for any event, even if the event has no cost to attend; this will help in maintaining safe attendance maximums for eventsTemperatures will be taken when entering the HUB for an eventMasks must be worn by anyone attending events in the HUBForest Blend Coffee Shop (Starbucks) will be open beginning January 25; Huntington University has asked Sodexo not to open Foresters’ Grill and Wrapped (located on the upper level of the HUB) until February 1HU has asked Sodexo to use a reduced menu for both Foresters’ Grill and Wrapped to reduce congestion while orderingQR codes will be on each dining table; using the camera on your phone, you will be able view the day’s menu to help facilitate orderingHand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the HUB for your convenience.
