SENIORS

Senior photo and13 year club photo this Friday, October 28th.

Seniors come by the Career Center to sign up for a coffee talk. You’ll learn about financial aid, scholarships, any type of college application and admission process.

All Students

REMINDER: Students are not to go to cars during school day. Please be sure to always have your parking tag visible when on school grounds.

Activity bus is available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays leaving at 3:30 in the bus loop.

Are you someone with a family member or close friend affected by alcoholism or other addiction problem? You are not alone. For example, According to Alcoholism-, 6.6 million youth under 18 in America live with at least one alcoholic parent.  If you would like to give or receive support, or just learn more. Check out the Healing Hearts Alateen group on Monday evenings in Lake Stevens. For more info, contact Mr. Pitkin in room 302, or ask one of our Counselors.

The Lantern Group will meet every Wednesday at 7a.m. in room 302. If you're interested in joining our efforts to increase awareness and improve skills for preventing suicide, consider joining the Lantern Group.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

• You are spookily invited to volunteer at the Mt. Pilchuck Elementary Halloween Carnival.  There are plenty of spots to volunteer between 2 pm and 9 pm on October 28th.  To receive the on-line volunteer sign-up contact family-fun@ or if you need more information please contact Rebecca Broadbent at 425-315-6081

The Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to work at the Visitors Center at Lundeen Park.  They are looking to fill positions every Sunday, year round, from 10am to 4pm.  For more information see the flyer in room 108.  To sign up or to get more information contact Terry Myer at 425-334-0433 or terry@

• Come support the JV Football team AND earn Community Service hours!  Mr. Pearson is looking for volunteers to work during the JV football game on October 24th from 4:45 - 7:00.  See Mr. Pearson if you are interested.

Come to Portable 15 every other Tuesday for opportunities to help those in need, start your own service projects, and build your resume. Key Club typically completes between 10-15+ service hours per month. Come join us and make a difference! For more information, contact Ms. Donnelly 

The 2016 Festival of Trees to benefit Children's Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is looking for volunteers.  There are several dates and times available from November 7th - December 3rd (see the flyer in 108 for more detailed information)

COLLEGE AND CAREER

The ASVAB (Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery) test will be held on December 6th. If you are thinking of career in the military you will want to take this test! The ASVAB tests are designed to measure aptitudes in four domains: Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial.
