1. First author of Introduction to Psychology (PSY 100) Lab Manual used by all 3000 undergraduates who take this course each year, now in its 8th edition. Newest version includes:

a. fewer lab activities to allow for more class discussion (lab participation is required)

b. online quizzes

c. a lab devoted to “course survival”, to better accommodate the large freshman enrollment

d. a lab devoted to exam preparation immediately before Exam 1 to better prepare students for the type of exam used in PSY 100

e. a lab devoted to academic success and mental health immediately after Exam 1 to allow students to “step back” and evaluate their academic progress and mental health following one month of class.

2. Advisor to 12 Ph.D. students who have graduated

3. Advisor to approximately 30 undergraduate Psychology Honors students

4. Supervise 7 -10 undergraduates in Independent Research course each semester

5. Designed and taught the online course “Learning & Cognition” (PSY 311)

6. Developed and taught online and face-to-face course “Introduction to Forensics: Psychology and Legal Issues” (PSY 320)

7. Developed new(with Dr. Liz Sheehan) new course “Careers In Psychology” (PSY 350) that was first taught in Spring 2018

8. Constructed Facebook groups in both large and small classes as a way to facilitate a “sense of community”; publication describing this initiative in Inside Higher Education

9. Produced an online video describing how to use flashcards in an Introduction to

Psychology ()

10. Revised undergraduate Independent Study curriculum for my students so that each has the opportunity to present their research at the University of Kentucky Undergraduate Showcase during the Spring semester (Spring 2011: 7 of my students presented posters)

11. Developed a webpage for my larger courses (e.g., Introduction to Psychology: uky.edu/~golding/PSY100MWFHomepage.htm)

12. Developed a MOOC (massively online open course) with Dr. Phil Kraemer titled
