The following MCN prerequisites NOT offered by Prairie State, but required for admission. These courses, as listed in the Illinois State University Catalogue, are as follows:

Students are also encouraged to complete a course that transfers into Illinois State as a global studies course

(see ISU catalogue for course description).

Students are expected to work closely with their Prairie State advisor to ensure that they are meeting all required coursework. It is ultimately the responsibility of the student to complete all coursework necessary for admission. Also, students need to check the website frequently as there are periodic changes in the courses that become designated as IAI courses.
