Advanced Placement Examination Registration Information2019-2020Please be advised that the College Board has made changes to the exam registration timeline. The following details the changes in registration dates and the process for registration: How to Register—Two Part ProcessPart 1: Each Advanced Placement (AP) class has been assigned a join code that will be given to students by their AP teachers. During class on August 21, 2019, students will be given a join code to join their courses online and register for exam(s). In order to do this, students must sign in to myap. using their College Board student account login. This is the same login they use to access AP scores, PSAT scores, or register for the SAT. If a student does not have an account, they should sign up at register prior to trying to join their course. Although students will be given an opportunity in class to join courses and register for exams, they can also register online from any cell phone or computer with internet access. It is important for students to provide accurate information when joining and registering for exams, as answer documents will be printed with this information and will be unchangeable after the exams are ordered. Part 2: Once students have their join code(s) and have joined their courses and registered for exams, they must pay for the exams through Total Registration. On our school website, you will find the link AP/050692 . Students will also receive a QR code for easy access. Students MUST use the same email address, name, and information that they used to join their course and register for the exam(s). Student should also print the pdf confirmation page that is provided at the end.***Important Notice: Exams will NOT be ordered unless both parts of this process are completed***Cost and Payment OptionsThe cost to take an exam is $98.00 per test, except AP Seminar and AP Research courses cost $146.00. You may pay by credit card, debit card, or personal check. Please be sure to have your credit card or debit card available before beginning online registration. If you pay by check, you will have to mail the check to the address provided to you on the registration site. Fee reductions are available for students who participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. All students who are qualified or those who need to be qualified for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program are to report to Mrs. Giles in the Assistant Principal’s Office to receive paperwork that MUST be completed, signed, and returned prior to paying for the exam. All students, including Free and Reduced Lunch students who register after November 8, 2019 will be accessed an additional $40 late fee, per College Board.
