In many cases this is becoming a problem solver so that others can continue to work effectively.Serve as a voting member on the Executive CommitteeWork closely with the Booster President, VP and Treasurer to understand the financial landscape and income needed from Sponsorships and Fundraising programs. Key programs owned by Director of Finance are Business Sponsorship Lead, Discount Cards, Global Fundraiser. These have leads that report to the Director of Finance. Assist in creating effective communication campaigns for all the fundraising groups. Sponsorship, Auction, Merchandise, and Concessions.Help to refresh the sponsorship campaigns for the upcoming year.Help support the Sponsorship Director and team with Local Business Sponsorship. Take an active role in the trenches of communication with sponsors to ensure success. This includes meeting, calling, and finding sponsors. Follow up and support the Auction, Concessions, and Merchandise Chairpersons.Attendance at booster club meeting, to share needs and updates. Communications Director (Board position)One person will be aligned and work directly with Coach, President and Vice President to raise awareness of Mount Si football and manage critical communications to players and parents through the Mount Si Football channels such as Class Representatives, the football program website and social media. This person will assist the President in planning and development of communications to Athletic Director. This person should also be prepared to coordinate communications with the school district’s PR and communications staff as needed.Ideally, this person will help write program-wide messages and work with class representatives (or other designees) to manage the image and promotion of the program. Serve as a voting member on the Executive CommitteeWork closely with Social Media lead to assure all appropriate materials are being managed and posted. Work closely with Secretary to assure website communication is accurate Create communications between High School and Junior football programs. *Chair positions Sponsorships Need a Lead and 4 Sponsorship volunteers. *Sponsorship Director:Entire community and booster team is responsible for the corporate sponsorship fundraising. This Director of Sponsorship is leading the largest portion of donations to the program, which is business donations. Sponsorship is critical in season and is something that continues throughout the year. Create a team of individuals to assist the Sponsorship director Work with Director of Finance to establish and implement a marketing strategy and donation campaign. THANK YOU program, creates things for sponsors at games, writes thank you’s, delivers gifts or items to sponsors. Email daily sponsors to inform them that they are the Sponsor of the Day on social media4.? Obtain web address and logo for each sponsor and get to the booster club website manager for the sponsor of the week. ?Work with the Social Media manager – send list of sponsors and packages for sponsor of the week.Creating the football program (need 2 volunteers) Two people to focus as part of sponsorship team. All artwork from sponsorships needs to be at Minutemen Press three weeks prior to the Scarlet and Gray game. (End of August)All articles of players – coordinate Senior player biographies three weeks prior to Scarlet and Gray game (End of August) - Senior Class representative will assist with working with Seniors. Coordinate autographing senior posters at Scarlet and Gray game. Work with Bob Wachandonk, photographer for Seniors, Varsity, JV and Freshman, plus senior photos and banner. (Bob does photographs for team in June). Vice President to assist with photos and poster coordination – production and printing. Ensure photos of seniors are included in the program, arrange collection from Bob Wachandonk by end of August. Work with team and game photographers to ensure senior player photos are included and coordinate any in-game action photo inclusion. Need to make sure all sponsorships are accurately added to the football programWork with Director of Finance for plan on selling the Programs at the Scarlet and Gray game, and price established. Social Media Assist with the actual posting of social media presence for the wildcat football program. Activities include:Coordination with Director of Communications to set the message and presence for the team, coach and players. Announce any special programs inside the booster club – to promote upcoming events. Facebook; twitter; Instagram, posts to drive excitement for the program and attendance at events. Work with the Sponsorship team on list of sponsors and packages – for sponsor of the week posting. Football TEAM Social Media: Each team – Freshman, JV and Varsity need a single parent to be responsible for Tweeting and using Instagram during the games. Will post quarterly scores Will post details on scores – “Player X scores on a 30-yard pass from quarterback, 3 minutes left until half time 7-0”If photos are taken – before or after game, they can be added to Instagram! * Player Training and Development Focus on finding, coordinating, and managing the existing development programs plus new development for players. Could be single focus (lineman or defense) smaller opportunities at Mount Si or in the metroplex. Will work with Communication Director, to promote and share opportunities across the entire Football program. Are we doing enough in terms of Training; be it camps, weight room, complimentary conditioning? ?How do we take this to the next level?? What do other programs do?Are we developing players the right way? ?Do we have a nutrition regimen that our players can follow?? What do other programs do?How can we push down learnings and new opportunities for Training and Development to the Junior program, the next generation of Wildcats?? If a 7th grader started a similar regimen to a freshman player in the same year, that 7th grader would be 2 years ahead of the game and the program would be better for it.Camp Day of: Need a couple of volunteers throughout the year to check in players at camps. Day of Camps is aligned to the Player Training and Development team. Every camp that has a waiver and is on the District Athletic Complex needs to have a representative at the field a 1/2 hour before camp start for player check in and stay through the entire camp every day. For all events: All players have to be checked in who are registered. If player is not listed on print out of registered, then they cannot legally be on the field. Everyone has to sign off the waiver for liability. Waivers are done online. *Registration and scheduling for camps One person, who works closely with Secretary to around registration of events and camps. Responsible for camp participant registration, legal disclaimers and for coordinating and scheduling school district facility access. The site is hosted by SportsEngine and the program pays an annual fee for usage. Will work with the hosting team from SportsEngine to enhance or add new capabilities such as registrations for camps or other venues.Create registrations utilizing the site to capture all attendees. Scholarships can be managed and granted by this team for camps. Will work alongside the Communications Director, Secretary, Player Training and Development, Others might need to set up a registration beyond Camps, such as the Auction, Photo, Video, and Merchandising – could need a small registration enabled. Notify numbers of registered for any event and communicate back with teams. Help with the scheduling or events needs All meetings in the High School and at the District Athletic Complex are scheduled with the school directlyWebsite Administrator One person, who works closely with Secretary to manage, administer, and host the website content. The Website is a custom service that all the clubs at Mount Si are using, SportsEngine. This allows the school to show a single format and unity. The site is hosted by SportsEngine and the football program pays an annual fee for usage. Will work with the hosting team from SportsEngine, directly to enhance or add new capabilities as requested or needed. Update Calendar and promote events, of content that is shared or sent by the board or director of communications. All content needs to be created by sub-teams across the booster program, the Web Administrator is to give guidance and ability to the format and content found on the pages. Will work alongside the Secretary, Communications Director, and Chairs to host content that supports each area. Examples are, Sponsor of the week and all special programs (Camps, Auction, Wildcat Club, Fundraising, Sponsorship recognition and Social Media posts) to assure all items are communicated and found on the Website. Photo, Video, and Merchandising might need to add content to the site as well and needs to be planned and communicated through the Website Administrator. *Alumni representative Individual or team of people who are actively all year working to build a relationship with the Alumni in the city of Snoqualmie, in Seattle, in Washington and in the World. Create opportunities for them to get involved – donate, attend an event, be recognized for their accomplishments, and give back to the program Build promotions and opportunities for them to join Wildcat Club and other events in support of the Booster Club. Any scheduled events with Alumni need to be added to be communicated to the Director Communications, and Secretary so they can share with calendar lead, and social media lead. *Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Class Representative Each class has a designated class representative throughout their high school years, to help facilities communications and activities:Coordination of communications from Communication Director that are targeted specifically for your class – ensure communications are distributed in a timely mannerFirst-line of response to all class questions – be prepared to answer (or work with board to develop a response) to all player/parent questionsCommitment to remain in position for all four years of high schoolRequired attendance at booster club meetingsFreshman ClassThis individual will start working with the Freshman Class Representative in the Winter and Spring months – about enrolling in camps, upcoming fundraisers, sponsorship opportunities, and on how to get involved in the roles inside the Booster Club. Coordinate and build the schedule for volunteer needs on Friday night gamesAll parents of freshman football players are required to work the concession stand, Merchandise and Wildcat Club on Friday night home games (typically 2 to 4 hours of volunteer time). This allows the upperclassmen parents to watch their boys on Friday night games. Senior Class Need a Senior parent to: Work with Senior boys on where they want to be photographed.Work with Senior Mom’s to be photographed with players on picture day. (clothing decisions and working with Bob to align) Work with Poster and signs for autographing the posters at Scarlet and Gray game – banner shown. Work with Bob Wachandonk, 425-772-2990 photographer for Seniors, Varsity, JV and Freshman, plus senior photos and banner. (Bob does photographs for team in August) Make 150 posters for the Scarlet and Gray game, for autographs.Coordinate senior year activities – senior night and assist with end of season banquet*Academic Assistance One Individual – we need the boys to take grades and school seriously all YEAR not just during the season and we need a small group to help – encourage – advise and provide guidance to the players. Are you a parent who can tutor, or are interested in being a guest speaker, or advisors to help them get organized, if so let us know! Activities include:Individuals to attend booster club meetingsUpdate and request needs with Coach, Booster Club President, VP, Treasurer and Class Representatives Obtain volunteer tutors for evenings/arrange scheduleObtain approval and purchase any required items Monitor academic night activities*Wildcat Auction - Parent / Alumni fundraising This is a group of individuals (15-20 needed) who are responsible for coordinating the annual Auction fundraiser. Having 5 key positions (Lead, Procurement, Software, Promotion and Venue) helps in aligning the 15-20 volunteers on an area of responsibility and focus. Each area has very specific duties and details that must be supervised and meet on a regular monthly basis.Lead: Align the leaders of the 4 areas – Venue, Procurement, Software and Promotion.Coordination with Booster Club President, Vice President, Treasurer, Class Representatives, Director of Communication, Social Media, and Photography. Determine a date for the event to assist Venue with selection and availability – consider home and away games, weather, other citywide events that could impact a Saturday night.Hold the meetings. Venue selection and negotiations with the venue of choice Establish theme, catering, invitations, set up/take down.Give back to the Booster club program from Venue, to see if they can be an official sponsor with the Football program. Align events, games, costs of sellable itemsSet timeline for the night of the event – silent auction time, live auction time, welcome speakers, coach speaking, etc. Date of event needs to be communicated, 5-6 months in advance of the Auction to assure maximum attendance. *Wildcat Discount Cards - Community fundraising 2-3 volunteers for this community fundraiser.? These funds are critical to the Program, and this is the program that allows the players to get into the game of raising funds for their coaches, equipment and team!??? Very important program.
