Has been the point person locally for retrans negotiations for 21 Years. As Station Manager, oversees all aspects of PCNC operations, program development, marketing, local and national sales.

▪ Interactive Television: Developed the locally produced, interactive $50,000 Jackpot Bingo for WPXI-TV that generated more advertising dollars than any previous show in the 7:30pm access time slot. Again boosted profits with the first locally produced Sports Memorabilia shopping show- The Pittsburgh Sports Super Sale; Job Line, a paid television want-ad classified service and Date Night TV, a reality show ratings winner and 900# phone line revenue generator.

▪ Articulate and Engaging Sportscaster and sports program executive producer: Executive Produced numerous Local sports weekly and Prime Time award winning Specials for WPXI and PCNC including athlete Bio-documentaries, sports talk shows and Live Play by Play of Steelers Football and Pirates Baseball. Aggressively negotiated the first television contract with and served as play by play announcer for the The New York Cosmos Pro Soccer Team (featuring PELE) and the World Football League’s New York Stars as well as numerous College and High School TV Play by Play. Community Service

▪ Brought WPXI-TV considerable name recognition and revenue by negotiating and signing contracts to televise the Three Rivers Regatta, the Pittsburgh Marathon, the Thrift Drug Classic International Cycle Race, Pittsburgh Steelers Pre-Season Football and Live Scrimmage Prime Time Telecasts, the Celebrate the Season Parade. All are among Pittsburgh’s most popular local events.

▪ Developed Take a Taxi, Not a Life campaign for WPXI-TV that won state awards for the best effort by a television station to address the problem of drinking and driving on New Year’s Eve. Launched the Volunteer Connection, in conjunction with the United Way that recruited hundreds of volunteers for local action and increased name recognition for WPXI-TV.
