College books are very expensive!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some ways to deal with it:

1. Be sure your book voucher is correct ? check in with your financial aid officer. And be sure to check your Essex email!!!

2. Check the Library to see if they have what you need ? each text is supposed to be in the Library! 3. Ask your professor or the academic department if he/she has a copy to loan 4. Share a text with a classmate 5. Check with your Academic Division or support program (like EOF) to see if they have books available 6. Keep an eye out for used book sales ? especially in the college. 7. Ask your professor if you can use an older edition, often they are easier to access.

8. Rent a book ? from Essex Bookstore or Barnes and Noble or .......

9. Ask around ? your friends might know someone! 10. Bite the bullet and buy it ---- check web for good sources like the and ask fellow

students if they know good websites. Keep it in good shape and you can probably sell it back to the bookstore ? or to another student like you!
