Next spring, NCBW-SC will award ten $1,000 college scholarships. The awarding of the scholarships actuates one of our goals; the encouragement of African-American females to continue their education beyond high school.Applicant must be a May or June 2020 female graduating high school senior.Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited college, university or other higher learning institution. Scholarship recipients must provide proof of acceptance and enrollment before funds are disbursed to the student.A minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4-point scale (unweighted) is required.Finalists must participate in an interview with the NCBW-SC scholarship selection committee.Scholarship winners must attend the NCBW-SC My Sister’s Keeper Annual Awards Luncheon on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2) Conference Center located at 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia SC 29229.The application packet must include the following:A completed 2020 application formThe applicant’s official high school transcript.
