1. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to represent you, in the event a jail sentence is contemplated.

2. You have the right to either a trial to the court or a trial to a jury (if contempt sanction could exceed 180 days).

3. You have the right to have this contempt matter heard by a different judge.

4. You have the right to either plead Guilty or Not Guilty to the charges of contempt.

5. You have the right to the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty.

6. The prosecutor must prove each and every element of the contempt charges against you beyond a reasonable doubt.

7. You have the right to confront and cross-examine all of the prosecution witnesses.

8. You have the right to present whatever witnesses and evidence you wish at trial or hearing.

9. You have the right to request the Court issue subpoenas to compel witnesses to testify for you.

10. You have the right to remain silent. No one can force you to testify against yourself. The fact that you do not testify cannot be used against you.

11. You have the right to testify on your own behalf, if you wish, waiving your right against self-incrimination, and if you do, then the prosecutor will be able to cross-examine you.
