BASH (Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard) Plan:

BASH Incorporated specializes in the development of operational BASH Plans for civil and military aviation worldwide. We have extensive experience on Department of Defense, commercial, private, and joint use airports. We customize BASH plans for the specific regional bird and wildlife hazards, local conditions, and operational considerations. Thorough investigation of habitat features, local wildlife population levels, and aircraft operations determine the development of these customized plans for our various clients.

Travel: Allowable travel and per diem charges are governed by Pub.L.99-234 and FAR Par 31, and are reimbursable by the ordering agency or can be priced as a fixed price item on orders placed under the Multiple Award Schedule.

Labor Classification Descriptions – SIN 899-1

Program Manager: Masters Degree required. Twenty years experience in program management required. Establishes and implements policies, procedures and standards for efficient project operation. Assigns, supervises, and evaluates work of subordinates. Reviews progress and directs changes in priorities and schedules as needed. Develops budgets based on staffing and resource requirements, cost estimates, and Company goals. Responsible for monthly progress reporting and scheduling.

Administrative Assistant: Business Bachelors Degree required. Ten years experience in administrative duties required. Organizes, analyzes and prepares documents for management approval. Operates computers, scanners, and printers according to established procedures and requirements. Researches, retrieves and maintains an accurate information system. Coordinates office communications, file systems, and facility management. Maintains office accounting system in accordance with required procedures.

Senior Scientist: PhD Degree in Environmental Science. Twenty years experience in applied research, consulting, ecological modeling and training in environmental science. Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist required. Performs client site visits, to include data collection, data analysis, review of local, state, and federal regulations. Authors BASH (Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard) Plans, Strategic Plans, and Wildlife Assessments. Conducts client training as appropriate to client needs. Consults on all aspects of the BASH arena to include habitat management, population control, bird dispersal methods, forecasting, modeling, operational planning for bird avoidance, accident prevention, and investigations.
