Annual Reporting Measures (CAEP)During the last NCATE Accreditation Visit the following programs were accredited:Early Childhood EducationElementary EducationEnglish EducationMathematics Education-the EPP has since removed this program of studyMiddle Level EducationSpecial Education/MulticategoricalImpact on P-12 learning and developmentGraduates are required to develop Student Learning Objectives (SLO's) each year. Our 2019- 2020 graduates shared their student growth with our EPP. The students in our graduates' classes consistently demonstrate growth on their SLO's. While this cohort of graduates is still mid-year of collecting data, their progress at midterm shows growth. Our EPP is pleased to see our graduates positively impacting student learning.Indicators of teaching effectivenessGraduates were evaluated using our statewide ADEPT system. Our 2019-2020 data is not available from the state yet. 2018-2019 data indicates 95.8% (28 out of 29 of our 2017-2018 graduates) passed using the ADEPT SAFET evaluation system. *State evaluation data is typically collected on graduates during their second year of teaching. Therefore, our available data reflects the 2017-2018 cohort. The state average is 94.78% passing. During the fall of 2021, data will be available to report on the 2018-2019 graduates. Satisfaction of Employers and Employment MilestonesA survey of school level principals was conducted to gather employer satisfaction on the 2016- 2017 graduates. We had a combined response rate (Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 graduates) of 75%. Results are posted below. The Satisfaction of Employers and Employment Milestone survey is developed and sent out every three years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Education Alliance determined the survey would not be sent out until the summer of 2021, leading to it being a year later than usual. During the summer of 2021 survey, graduates from the summer of 2017-the fall of 2020 will be included. 390525164585The employer satisfaction data informs the EPP of areas for improvement and areas of strength. Areas for improvement include Effective Communication and Leadership. Areas of strength include Professional Commitment and Collaboration. The EPP continues to explicitly teach, model, and evaluate candidates on these professional dispositions.Satisfaction of CompletersThe Satisfaction of Completers survey is developed and sent out every two years. During the 2020-2021 academic year, the 2017-2020 graduates were included in the survey. Completers during the 2017-2020 academic year responded to the EPP Survey. The response rate is low and it is attributed to the pressures educators have on them during the pandemic 15% (15 out of 101 graduates). The EPP recognizes two areas graduates identified with lower ratings. These areas include, Technology Integration, being prepared for Graduate Work/Research, exposure to Secondary Standards, and Assessment and Data Collection. The EPP seeks ideas for continual improvement from CCTEC, the Education Alliance, the Student Improvement Committee and the education faculty. The EPP anticipates candidates will need to be more prepared in the area of virtual instruction due to COVID-19. The highest ratings include: Preparation for Classroom Management, Prep for Praxis II and PLT, Diversity in the classroom, Collaboration with Colleagues, and Preparation for ADEPT 4.0 evaluation system. Diversity was an area previously rated low on our previous graduate survey100% indicated a rating of Excellent when asked about their preparation by the EPP in their Program Area.100% indicated a rating of Excellent when asked about their preparation by the EPP in all three of their Field Experiences.Graduation Rates100% of our candidates graduated and completed their certifying program during the 2019-2020 academic year. Graduates are typically required to complete their program of study and pass licensure exams. However, due to the pandemic, the graduates are provided a state-wide emergency provision extension to pass all licensure exams. 100% of our teacher candidates graduated and 4 out of 37 did not pass their licensure exams prior to graduating giving the EPP a rate of 90% if licensure exams are included.
