The Pastoral Nomadic Life

Answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper (this should be typed):

1. Imagine you were a traveler who visited the Mongols during the time of Chinggis Khan. Describe what types of things you would see—where do they live? What do they eat and drink? How is society organized? Would you consider them a civilization? Etc…

2. Next, describe an encounter you had with Chinggis Khan. What was he like? What were his major accomplishments? What are your impressions of him—do you respect him?
