GIVING THANKS &

LOOKING AHEAD

Beth and I want to thank Wynnton for all the ways you have been with us as we have served God in this place. You have opened your hearts to us and to Jesus. We have grown in God’s Spirit together over these six years. We look forward to spending some time with our family and entering a new stage of life. A scripture comes to my mind and heart in these moments of change and transition for our family and the Wynnton family:

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right,

for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity,

let us work for the good of all, and especially

for those of the family of faith.

Galatians 6:9-10

As we enter a new stage of our lives, so Wynnton will enter a new stage of service and witness for Jesus. Rich and Ruth Wright will be coming to serve God among you. Keep them in your prayers as you prepare for a new season in the life of Wynnton.

With change there comes adjustment. We can feel grief and loss. We can also feel excitement and the hope and joy of what is new to come. God will work with us to reveal what His promise is for us. God will bring forth new glimpses of His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We have the opportunity to look for ways to serve God, for new ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ among the people in our church and in our community.

I have a dream of Wynnton growing in welcoming people, connecting with friends and neighbors, praying and caring for one another, growing leaders for the church, and loving one another as Jesus is loving us. So many opportunities lie ahead for Wynnton. God be with you.

We give thanks for Wynnton and will keep praying with you in the years ahead.

See you Sunday at God’s Kingdom Building Place!

Frank and Beth
