Holy Rosary Church 511 E. Spring St. ? Saint Marys, OH 45885Dear Parents, July 2019 Welcome to the Holy Rosary Sunday School Program for the 2019- 2020 school year. Sunday school is for children who are 3, 4 and 5 years old and for children who attend public school Kindergarten. Sunday school is held every other Sunday during the 11:00a.m. Mass in the school from September 15 through April 19. All children attending Sunday School must be potty trained. On the days of Sunday School, children who are in the 3 year old classroom can be brought to the school any time after 10:45a.m. Children in the 4 year old, 5 year old or Kindergarten class will begin in the church, with their parents at the 11a.m. Mass and then be dismissed by Father Barry before the 1st Reading. The children will meet up front for a blessing and be led out by their Sunday School teachers. They will go to the school for class. Children will be ready for pick up after Mass in the school. Please refer to the schedule below. On September 15th, please stop in the vestibule in the back of church to pick up your child’s name tag before Mass begins and so teachers can meet your child before the dismissal. Please have your children use the restroom before class and Mass each week of Sunday school.We encourage you to attend Mass with your child and sit close to the front on weeks when there is no Sunday school so they learn to worship our Lord through the Mass and gain an appreciation for being part of our church community. On November 24th, the children will bring a canned good to class. They will attend Sunday school and will come over to the church to bring up the offertory with their class during Mass. Their canned food will be their offering for the poor.The Christmas program will take place directly after the 11:00a.m. Mass on December 8thin the church. The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the Christmas Party and arrange a visit with Santa directly after the program in the school gym. Please fill out the enclosed registration and return it with your payment to the parish office.
