Daniel Levison has nearly four decades of commercial real estate experience. He began his career with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate Services of Canada in 1982 where he initially managed the Atlanta office’s research department, before moving into sales.

Mr. Levison then took a position with Laing Properties, Inc. where he was involved in the daily management and leasing of the company’s industrial, office and business park portfolio, which consisted of 1.5 million square feet.

In 1985, he founded Real Property Data (RPD), which was Atlanta’s first online multiple listing service. Through RPD information was provided on a fee basis to property owners,

brokers, purchasers, seller’s and financial institutions.

In 1989, Real Property Data merged with Jamison Commercial Real Estate Research Services, which is now Costar Real Estate Research Services. While at Jamison,

Mr. Levison’s responsibilities included managing the company’s entire research and sales efforts in addition leading the company’s advisory group’s sales presentations.

In 1992, Mr. Levison reentered the brokerage community where he worked at Ackerman & Co. and Bryant & Associates, specializing in industrial leasing as well as

investment sales, representing both tenants and landlords.

In 1997, Mr. Levison became a member of MK Management Company, Inc., where he was responsible for leasing the company’s entire portfolio which consisted

of 7.5 million square feet of commercial space throughout Atlanta. Mr. Levison remained with MK Management Company until 2005.

Mr. Levison formed CRE Holdings in January 1998 while still a member of the MK Management team. Since forming AIP, he has acquired or developed

approximately 1.1 million square feet of multi-tenant commercial space in more than 22 buildings throughout Atlanta.

Mr. Levison co-founded Commercial Property Professionals in 2008. He earned his Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation in 1997.

He is a Life Member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) from 2001-2005.

In the Fall of 2016 Mr. Levison sold his interest in Commercial Property Professionals and is now focuses on providing a higher level of customer service to few clients than was possible as the managing partner of a (15) person brokerage company. Mr. Levison is also involved in the daily operations of two new ventures CommissionTrac and Sharedspace.

CommissionTrac () went live in the Fall of 2017 was built to get commercial real estate agents paid faster and to streamline brokerage back office operations with accounting automation and organizational transparency.

The platform allows agents to submit new deals completed for approval. Once approved and all documentation is confirmed, the platform manages all receivables, creates custom invoices, delivers invoices via email, allows checks to be deposited against open receivables and automatically calculates the distribution to agents and the brokerage house based on approved deal data and pre-configured commission plans. We further streamline operations with a Quickbooks integration.

SharedSpace, () a community coworking business was created in the Summer of 2016 with the opening of its first location in Dunwoody, Georgia. Sharedspace’s second location opened in January of 2018 in Northwest Atlanta, ½ mile from the Braves new stadium and The Battery. Sharedspaces third location is scheduled to open in Augusta, Georgia in the Fall of 2018, with additional locations planned for Greenville, Chattanooga, Charleston, Birmingham and several other secondary markets throughout the Southeast.

Mr. Levison is also actively involved in his own charity ReStart3:20 () as well as Special Olympics of Georgia along with a variety of other charities throughout Atlanta.

Mr. Levison resides in Sandy Springs with his wife Karen. They have four children, Turner, Taylor, Tate and Leah, and four grand-children, Mia, Rhys, Ella and Theo.
