2019-2020 MacAfee Road School Common School Supplies Needed

Please keep in mind this is a list of common items complied by grade. During the first few days of school a list of supplies needed by your child's teacher will be sent home based upon her/his specific classroom needs. We wanted you to be able to take advantage of all the summer sales for common school supplies. Even if your child doesn't need some of the items at school they might need them at home to complete their homework. Please keep all receipts in the event you need to return any items.

Pre-K Supplies: ? Book Bag-larger size, must hold an 8 ? X 11 folder ? Lunch box if your child plans on bringing their lunch ? Separate bag/box for snack to be eaten in class - best to keep lunch and snack separate ? Sheet, small blanket for naptime ? Change of clothes in zip lock bag to be kept in school ? Clorox or Lysol disinfectant wipes ? Liquid Antibacterial hand soap ? Dry Erase markers

If you would like to provide the following voluntary supplies it would be much appreciated but not mandatory

? Tissues ? Yellow Hi-liters ? Gallon zip lock bags ? Sandwich size zip lock bags

Kindergarten Supplies: ? Book Bag-larger size, must hold an 8 ? X 11 folder ? Headphones ? Miniature flashlight ? Lunch box if your child plans on bringing their lunch ? Separate bag/box for snack to be eaten in class - best to keep lunch and snack separate

Pencil Sharpener (one that holds the shavings so they don't fall on onto the floor) ? Pencil Case (soft case) - must fit in the desk/binder and be able to hold all school tools ? Homework, Word Study, Writing Workshop and Reading Workshop ? Pencil Sharpener - (one that holds the shavings so they don't fall on onto the floor) ? Pencil Box (soft case) - must fit in the desk ? Small soft pencil case (no hard pencil boxes) ? 3 pairs of headphones (labeled & in a ziplock bag) ? 2 boxes of tissues ? 2 containers of Clorox or Lysol wipes ? Ziplock bags (1 gallon and 1 quart size)

Fourth Grade Supplies: ? (6) marble composition notebooks (non-spiral) ? (1) flat pencil case (NO PENCIL BOXES) ? Pencils ? Pens (blue/black plus two additional pens that are a different color than blue or black) ? Glue sticks - (extra might be needed later in the year for replenishing) ? Post-its (square) ? (2) 2-pocket plastic folders ? 3 pairs of headphones (labeled & in a ziplock bag) ? 2 boxes of colored pencils ? Tissues ? Clorox or Lysol wipes
