Using the Placement Test Interpretation System

Using the Placement Test Interpretation System

September 2006

Scores are valid and retrievable for two years using the Placement Test Interpretation system. Your recommended placements based on your Asset scores will appear when you log in. These are the courses you can enroll in based on your scores.

You can expand (+) a placement result to view the recommended sequencing for that track. The example on the next page shows Math 075 appearing twice. This is because there are two tracks: one for College Math and another for Vocational Math. The first track lists courses that lead to college level transferable math courses. The second track list courses for non-transferable degrees. If you are planning a non-transferable degree, check with your advisor for Math sequencing for your degree.

By default the max score in each column will populate on the bottom line called MAX ASSET2. These are the scores used to display the placements when you first log in. If you have multiple testing dates and would like to view the placements based only on that date, select the arrow to the left of that row. To return to the default placements, select the arrow to the left of MAX ASSET2.
