I. APPLICABILITY This policy applies to all full time Employees working a regular full time schedule.

II.

PURPOSE AND ROLE

The purpose of this policy is to provide a tuition reimbursement plan for full time employees who meet all of the program

eligibility criteria.

III. POLICY J.B. Hunt supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. In keeping with this philosophy, the company has established a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through accredited institutions of learning.

III. PROCEDURE A. Eligibility 1. The employee must be employed by J.B. Hunt Transport for a minimum of six months, prior to applying. 2. The employee must be a full time employee working a full time schedule and performing satisfactorily in their current position. All requests are subject to management's approval. B. Reimbursement Criteria 1. The course must be part of a transportation degree, business degree or a degree directly related to the business. 2. Individual courses not tied to one of the above mentioned degrees will be reimbursed only if they are of direct benefit to the employee's current position. 3. Reimbursement will be 100% of tuition and fees up to the maximum for the state in which you live, less any applicable taxes, G.I. Bill, scholarship or grant monies received. The maximum for each state can be found in the table below. 4. All reimbursements for graduate courses will require VP approval. 5. A maximum of 2 courses or 6 credit hours per session (semester, trimester, etc.) will be reimbursed. 6. The employee must receive an A or B in each class in order to receive reimbursement. 7. Reimbursement will NOT be made for books or DVD rentals. 8. Reimbursement will NOT be made for truck driving schools.

Note: Reimbursement for undergraduate and graduate coursework defined in this plan is excludable from employee's income up to $5,250 per calendar year (P.L. 107-16 -- scheduled to expire 12/31/2013).

IV. Reimbursement Process

1. The employee requesting reimbursement must fill out a Request for Reimbursement PRIOR to the beginning of the session or semester in which they wish to receive a reimbursement. The Tuition Reimbursement Request form can be found in the in the Tuition Reimbursement database in Lotus Notes, 2. The request will be routed to your supervisor, then to your VP if you are participating in graduate courses. 3. Once approvals have been received the Training & Development Department will contact you via e-mail notifying you that you are approved to receive reimbursement for the course(s). 4. The employee then pays for and completes the course. 5. Upon completion of the course, submit both a grade report and an ITEMIZED receipt of payment to the Training & Development Department. Paperwork can be e-mailed to the Lotus Notes group Tuition Reimbursement or faxed to Tuition Reimbursement at (479) 659-6010. 6. Reimbursement will be paid upon the submittal of the grade report and the itemized receipt. You will receive the reimbursement on your regularly schedule pay check.

V. Employment Requirements 1. Employees who receive reimbursement for undergraduate classes must work for J.B. Hunt a minimum of one year following reimbursement of tuition. Employees who voluntarily leave JB Hunt within 12 months of reimbursement will be required to pay back 100% of the reimbursement received within the 12 months prior to their last day of employment. 2. Employees receiving reimbursement of graduate classes must work for J.B. Hunt a minimum of three years following that reimbursement of tuition. Employees who voluntarily leave JB Hunt within 36 months of reimbursement will be required to pay back reimbursement based on the following scale:

i. Within 12 months of reimbursement: 100% of the reimbursement received within the 36 months prior to their last day of employment.

ii. Within 24 months of reimbursement: 80% of the reimbursement received within the 36 months prior to their last day of employment.

iii. Within 36 months of reimbursement: 60% of the reimbursement received within the 36 months prior to their last day of employment.
