JOB TITLE: Regional Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: To support the growth of the game through rebuilding participation and our people transformation strategy to make the experience of those in netball as brilliant as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing partnerships with volunteers

• Co-ordinate logistical and agreed administrative tasks on behalf of the Regional Management Board (RMB) and sub-groups to ensure good governance of the sport.

• In conjunction with the Regional Management Board plan, and implement agreed regional projects including the regional Volunteer Recognition Awards Ceremony and Annual General Meeting.

• Co-ordinate and lead the delivery of the club quality assurance programme (CAPS) across the region leading to an increased number of accredited clubs as well as ensuring clubs accreditation is maintained through annual health checks.

Communication

- Act as the key point of contact for regional enquiries and the distribution of information to members, participants and staff, ensuring a professional approach at all times.

- Be the local point of contact and attend meetings with external stakeholders acting as a positive role model for EN and the sport in your area

- Help rebuild participation levels through promotion, marketing and signposting of our clubs, leagues and programme activity

- Lead the promotion and marketing of netball to all audiences within the region utilising a range of communication platforms including regional websites, newsletters and social media.

- Communicating key messages effectively and in a timely manner

- Supporting the cascade of national messages locally

- Nurturing local relationships to help promote and support the strategic

development of EN

Supporting those that make the game happen

• Plan and coordinate, following the documented process, and monitor all England Netball (EN) education and training courses in the region

• Provide ‘On Call’ Support to ensure all coaching courses run smoothly and the learners have the best experience

• Maintain appropriate databases to provide insight and to support a broader understanding of the netball landscape within the region

General administration and systems

• Contribute to the planning, coordination and support of a comprehensive regional calendar.

• Manage administrative systems and ensure the smooth running of the regional office, including logging of post, stationary orders and where directed communication with office hosts and suppliers.

• Produce and prepare reports highlighting progress against key aims and objectives for the region using various IT systems.

• Maintain agreed databases when required including monitoring system, Engage and regional booking systems.

General

- Play an active and effective role in the Regional Co-ordinator team as well being part of the regional delivery team.

- Respect and promote the spirit and intentions of England Netball’s Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball policy

- Actively role model England Netball Equality, Diversity & Inclusion policy ensuring it is at the forefront of how we work

- Adhere to and follow all company policies and procedures

- Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time
