We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President – Business Director for our headquarters located in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. This position will provide the Vice President and General Manager with leadership and coordination of commercial activities of the company. Directly supervise the activities of the National Accounts Manager, Business Manager - Reinforcements and Business Manager - Epoxy, Coring and Adhesives. The expectation is that by successfully discharging the duties of this position the incumbent will be of assistance to the General Manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy. Major Responsibilities:Coordinate the development of key performance goals for National Accounts Manager and Business Managers. Insure the development of tactical programs to achieve targeted goals and objectives.Engage with National Accounts and Business Managers in sales strategies including key and target account management with the objective of increasing market share.Coordinate national sales and marketing activities with Vice President Business Managers – East and West.Oversee daily activities of functions of direct reports.Evaluate need and make recommendation for additional Business Managers.Work closely with the General Manager in all aspects of management including administrative and financial affairs.Provide for on-going development of personnel. Coordinate this activity with Company Senior Management to improve opportunities and improved job skills by coaching and counseling.Establish relationships with key managers of major market partners. Also, establish several objectives with each and meet to determine performance results. Report on key objectives to Vice President and General Manager.Represent NAC in all industry trade associations.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Responsibility for Work of OthersDirectly responsible for National Accounts Manager, Business Manager – Reinforcements and Business Manager – Epoxy, Coring and Adhesives and Vice President of Operations.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Chemical or Industrial sales experience desirable - Composite Industry experience preferred. Proven leadership skills in order to train, direct and motivate personnel to achieve and maintain agreed upon sales goals and objectives.Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to create effective working relationships with staff, customers, suppliers and management team.Extensive knowledge of sales and distribution.
