Introduction to Information ManagementPart V- Prototype Company PresentationProject NarrativeThis project provides the opportunity for students to apply presentation skills developed earlier in the semester. Students assess and retrieve information from previous parts of the company project and present these in a condensed narrated PowerPoint presentation of their company. Further, the project requires the ability to identify and synthesize previous project information, and incorporate information into the Company Project Presentation.Prerequisite Knowledge - Working in a group context, create a demo company and develop and refine business aspects of the company based on concepts introduced in class. Utilize basic teamwork concepts. Create, Open and Save PowerPoint documents, insert objects, images, text content, custom animation, audio/visual features, graphic and image enhancements. Reference all resources utilized in the project. Subsequent Application – Presentations in other courses.RequirementsAs a group, collect all of the information compiled for your company and share this information with the class via a digital presentation. The information pertaining to the company, created from the previous Company Project Parts I - IV, should be incorporated into this PowerPoint presentation based on the instructions below. Remember to represent both the storefront and online operations.Prepare a narrated PowerPoint presentation covering all of the topics listed below. Use a professional presentation format such as following the rule of 7 and remember to not read directly from the slides. Be creative in how you present your company. The presentation is to be 12-15 minutes in length (no more than 12 – 15 slides) and all group members need to have a speaking part for the presentation.This PowerPoint should include the following: Detailed background of your company (how did it get started, what does the company do, what are the products and services?). "Sell" the business, using the approach that we know nothing about your business;Explanation of the marketing strategies; Explanation of the e-commerce and revenue models;Discussion of the ERP or CRM system chosen and how it will be used in the business. Exclude the cost, who else uses it, etc. from this discussion, and instead, focus on the how the CRM/ERP systems is to be used; Discussion of the company website – mention that the SDLC was used to create the website but focus on showing the website and explain some of its features;Clearly identify the four Web 2.0 technologies chosen for the company and include how they support the business (under what circumstances); Demonstration of one of the four technologies that is unique (exclude Facebook, Twitter, or other popular Web 2.0 technologies); set up an account and practice how it may be used in your business; Presentation of this information in a narrated PowerPoint with the following requirements:Published to student(s) website,Include an introduction, background, and other necessary information, and a clear closingAppropriate APA citations and referencesHyperlinks the online informational sites used.Include all project references used to create the entire project. Remember to incorporate the textbook, new resources, and all Web 2.0 technologies into the references from your previous assignment (reference the specific technology and not just the site). The completed PowerPoint presentation will be shared electronically with all group members.
