The Vice President reported to the President, served as a member of the President's executive council and had responsibility for a major division within the university, directing most of the non-academic student-related functions. The division of Student Affairs has approximately 150 full-time employees and 20 departments reporting through an Associate Vice President for Student Life/Dean of Students and an Assistant Vice President for Student Development. The Vice President has fiscal responsibilities for a budget in excess of $13 million.
