Operating System Support Statement

Lenovo UPM and UPP are only supported with the operating systems listed in the relevant compatibility document. If the document shows for example:

? SLES10-SP4 ? SLES11-SP4 ? SLES12-SP3

as supported then only these operating systems are supported. If the software is used together with a different operating system release, e.g. SLES12-SP4, then this SLES release has not yet been tested. In case of a problem with such an installation support will be provided on a best effort basis until the release of this software has been tested.

Using UPM or UPP with a not-listed operating system, such as e.g. Fedora or CentOS, support will be provided on a best effort basis with no guarantee that a solution or a fix will be provided.
