PLEASE MAKE SURE THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT. Corrections to the certificate, due to incorrect information provided in this document, will take at least 30 days from the date the applicant informs us of the correction required and may incur administrative costs. A separate form must be filled out for each certificate applicant.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOLLOWED BY THE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT (AD)?
1º) The AD issues the certificate using the information provided in this document only. Information/requests provided by other means may not be taken into account by the AD when issuing the certificate.
2º) The Vice President digitally signs the certificate. This is a certified signature and the Conservatória is fully aware of this new certification procedure.
3º) The AD then sends by e-mail a printable version of the certificate to the e-mail addresses provided in this document only.
4º) Each applicant prints his/her own certificate. Each applicant emails the printable certificate to his/her lawyer. The AD no longer sends the certificate by post.
5º) The applicant may now proceed with the subsequent steps of the Portuguese Nationality process. Check the steps here:
