LOAN ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Job Purpose: To oversee the Loan Administration Department, direct the department's activities, and act as primary support for customer contact and problem resolution for loan operations while focusing on exemplary service and support to internal and external customers. To ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to loan operations and SOX procedures & key controls.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Supervises the Loan Administration staff (hiring, developing, coaching, reviewing, disciplining, etc.) Manages the Loan Administration operations including, but not limited to, the following job functions: o Booking and funding new commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans and modifications or renewals to any existing loans o Payment of taxes and insurance for all escrow accounts and annual review of escrow analysis o Posting of loan payments for all loans o Compliance and maintenance for expiring hazard, PMI and flood insurance, and UCCs o Updating of interest rate indexes o Reviewing of monthly HMDA reviews of new loans booked and updates to the LAR o Scanning of all documents into Aurora Document o Monthly reporting of SBA loans to Colson Services o Resolving Credit Bureau disputes through e-OSCAR Serves as the primary contact with the core bank processing vendor, Jack Henry Core Director, as related to loan operations, problem resolution, loan processing, payment processing, etc. Reviews reports daily for file maintenance changes Responds to audits regarding loan administration issues Assists with customer support calls and problem resolution while providing the highest levels of customer service to commercial, mortgage and consumer loan customers Prepares and maintains policies and procedures as related to all aspects of the Loan Administration department in accordance to all regulatory requirements Manages proper disposal of records and documents according to established schedules Serves on the SOX and Compliance Committees

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Missouri and Federal lending laws and regulations (including, but not limited to, BSA, Consumer Loan Act, CRA, Fair Lending, Flood, General Usury, HMDA, Reg B/ECOA, Reg Z, RESPA, SAFE Act, Statutory Mortgage Act, UDAP/UDAAP) Possess strong mathematical skills with working knowledge of basic accounting principles Follow the Guaranty Bank Code of Conduct and other related policies and regulations, maintaining integrity, honesty and utmost ethical standards at all times Have the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form Possess strong/advanced computer skills Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in daily duties Uphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations Remain flexible to withstand unpredictable changes to workflow and schedules Demonstrate ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects Interact and communicate effectively with various types of external and internal customers (by telephone and in person) Display ability to be resourceful, to act independently and to recognize unusual situations in which higher intervention may be necessary Maintain a customer-focused, helpful, friendly and polite attitude while remaining calm and professional in a variety of circumstances Present a conservative, neat and professional appearance in dress and action

Physical/Mental Requirements: Sit at a desk in front of computer terminal for extended periods of time Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (supplies/files/retention boxes) Move around within office and between bank locations for meetings and/or training

Working Conditions: Duties are performed in an office environment in a professional business setting. Position

requires occasional travel to other locations for meetings/training. Work pace can be very fast during deadlines and peak periods.

Professional Relationships: Supervises the work of personnel within the Loan Administration functions of the bank.

Interacts with other various personnel throughout the bank. Communicates and coordinates with external contacts (customers, outside vendors, etc.)

Eligibility Requirements (Minimum Qualifications): A minimum of five years experience in a loan operations capacity is required (preferably as

a manager). Achievement of a bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
