|Job Purpose: |
|To work closely with the Centre Manager to provide day to day operational services delivered by the contact centre. |
|Duties and Responsibilities: |
| |
|(under the supervision and advice of the Centre Manager) |
| |
|Have a personal and active involvement in all aspects of the day to day work of the centre. |
| |
|Promote and maintain an enabling atmosphere in which the highest professional standards of practice are maintained. |
| |
|To deliver group or one to one parenting skills, training, advice and guidance as directed by the Centre Manager and/or Social Care Team. |
| |
|Maintain appropriate records as required by the Centre Manager in line with departmental policies and legislation. |
| |
|Help to achieve the smooth running of all aspects of the centre and participate in activities as appropriate. |
| |
|Ensure that the systems for booking contact arrangements are appropriately maintained. |
| |
|Responsible for the management of the building, including health & safety, hygiene, reporting repairs, ordering resources and as a named First |
|Aider. |
| |
|In co-operation with the Contact Centre Co-ordinator, develop and maintain good relationships with the neighbourhood and community as a whole, |
|families, social workers and other professional colleagues. |
| |
|Adhere to all working policies and procedures within Doncaster Children’s Services Trust. |
| |
|Where appropriate attend meetings as directed by the Centre Manager. |
| |
|As a key holder to work outside of the department’s core hours as required by the needs of the service on a rota basis to include |
|locking/unlocking the building. Some unsocial hours may be required. |
| |
|Will at all times carry out duties in accordance with the highest professional standards. |
| |
|Strict confidentiality in respect of families and colleagues will be maintained. |
| |
